Tasty Burger, a modern fast-food chain founded by a group of chefs, closed its North Station location for good, according to Google and multiple social media reports. The location is no longer listed on the Tasty Burger website.
The burger joint is known for its classic burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs, but it also offers some specialty options. Guests can enjoy traditional burgers, or try one decked out in mushrooms, truffle oil, and steak sauce, or a gorgonzola burger topped with blue cheese and bacon.
Diners can also order hand-spun milkshakes as well as beer and wine.
Some of the eatery's regulars took to social media to praise the restaurant and question its closing.
"Officially safe to say Tasty Burger at North Station is closed," said one Reddit user who noticed that the furniture inside the building had been removed. "This is too bad, it was a nice convenient place to grab a bite to eat and seating. Hopefully, the next place that picks up the real estate gives the space some life again!"
"That location got so much business," another Reddit user commented. "Wonder what happened."
Tasty Burger still operates four other locations in Boston and Cambridge.
